Kids Surf Camp
Kids camp offers a great range of activities for children between the ages of 10 and 16. Learn everything about surfing in a 1 week course or bring your kids along to one day to see if its right for them. Feel fully assured that your kids are in great hands with our BSA qualified surf coaches and beach lifeguards.
Both Philip Locke and Terry Crump are Level 2 BSA qualified surf instructors.
Information that the kids will learn
- Surf Safety – Learn all about the rules of surfing, from entry from the beach to surf etiquette and how to interact with other surfers in the line up.
- Surf Environment – Working with Surfers Against Sewage, you'll learn all about how to keep the beaches environmentally friendly and how to do your bit for the environment.
- Surf Education – Learn about waves, tides, pressure systems, board design and types of wetsuits.
- Surf Games - Play games will help with team building that link closely with education and will help improve confidence both in and out of the sea.
